POLICE have released these e-fit images of two men wanted for burglary.

The pair were caught in the act when a 36-year-old man returned to his home in Romsey Avenue, Portchester, to discover them.

When he tried to stop them getting away one of the men picked up a small porcelain pot and threw it at him, cutting his left cheek.

Both men fled out of the back door at about 6.30pm on March 17.

PC Phil Hall said: ‘We would like to catch them before they get the chance to try again somewhere else. We would ask that members of the public look at the e-fits and if they recognise either man, they should get in touch.’

The first man is white, in his early 30s, 5ft 11in tall with mousey brown, spiky hair. He wore a dark top.

The second man is in his late 20s, 5ft 10in tall with black, cropped hair. He also wore dark clothes.

Anyone with information can call Fareham police station on 101 quoting reference 441100112693.
