The burglary happened on sometime between 4am and 9am on Wednesday, November 14.

A man entered the premises and caused £10,000 worth of damage and stolen various items, including items of sentimental value from the residential area of the pub.

Will Morris, operations manager for Brewhouse & Kitchen's Southern locations said: '˜We're naturally disappointed and frustrated to have been a victim of this crime.

'˜We've recruited a great team of passionate people locally to bring Brewhouse & Kitchen Southsea to life and they've shown great pride and ownership in the pub since team training started on site so were also very saddened by the theft and subsequent damage caused.

The appeal on the pub's Facebook page reads: '˜A man broke in to our lovely new brewpub on Wednesday 14th November, and there was theft and damage up to the value of £10K.

'˜Brewhouse & Kitchen is offering a reward of a free pint every day for a year to the first person to positively identify this man.

'˜Once identified we will also make a donation to the Royal Navy.
