POLICE have issued this efit of a man who tried to rob a bank in Southsea.

As reported, a man walked into the NatWest in Palmerston Road with a note demanding money.

No weapons or threats were used and he left empty-handed.

Police, who have previously issued a CCTV picture, are trying to identify the suspect who was seen shortly before the incident, on February 5, at 10.20am, in Portland Road, Southsea.

The man was white, in his late 30s to early 40s, 6ft and stocky. He was clean-shaven, pale with a large angular nose.

He wore a black beanie hat, black hoodie and black scarf, blue jeans and black gloves.
