MORE than 50 cars have been targeted by vandals in the past six months.

Police have received 54 reports of car tyres being slashed in Gosport with 15 of the offences taking place in the Forton area – in particular Rothesay Road and surrounding streets.

The tyres appeared to have been punctured with a screwdriver-type implement during the evening.

Other areas with a number of reports include Avery Lane and Graham Road.
