Met admits undercover police officer took part in Hampshire fur farm raid

Have your say

A story on October 15 reported that Peter Williams, 59, of Gorley Court, Havant, had been found guilty in his absence by Fareham magistrates of four charges under the Transport Act 1968.

We have now been informed that after this judgment was reached and the court had risen, the magistrates were recalled and the earlier verdict and sentences were all rescinded.

The defendant, who has not yet entered pleas to the court, will have his case heard on November 17.
