Authorities ‘must better prepare for cyber attacks’

A MAN accused of attacking a teenager on the bonnet of a car in Parham Road, Gosport, has had his case sent to crown court.

Gary John Nash, 21, appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court where he was accused of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, namely a sock containing a weighted ball, and robbery, both relating to the incident on August 28.

He is also accused of escape from lawful custody and an assault, both on September 3.

No pleas were entered for any charges. He is due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on September 30.
