A THIEF was found guilty of stealing £250 twice from a woman.

Portsmouth magistrates handed Karen Elstob, 53, of Botley Drive, Havant, a community order with 90 hours of unpaid work.

Elstob must pay £500 compensation and an £85 victim surcharge.

She was found guilty of two counts of theft in her absence at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.
