CCTV issued after charity boxes stolen in Portsmouth

Police have issued CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to about the theft of charity boxes in Portsmouth.

A man entered the U Need Us shop in Arundel Street between 12.10pm and 12.25pm on Thursday, October 6.

He distracted staff before cutting the cords of charity boxes on the counter and stealing two boxes.

The boxes were raising money for Cancer Research and the Rowan Hospice.

The amount stolen is unknown.

The man is described as white, aged 25 to 35 and of slim build.
