THIS man is wanted in connection with a burglary at a pub.

He is suspected of stealing cash from the Heroes pub in London Road, Waterlooville,

Police say the man walked into the premises through the main doors of the pub and went up the stairs to the flat above.

He stole about £255 cash from the living room and quickly fled the scene.

Now police have released this CCTV image in their hunt for the man wanted in connection with the burglary.

It took place between about midday and 6pm on September 29, but details have only just been released.

PC Nick Wisdom, who is investigating the incident, is now urging witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

He said: ‘This is a rare incident.

‘It is unusual for someone to enter pub living quarters during daytime hours.

‘I would urge anyone who recognises the man in the images to come forward.’

The suspect is described as white, with brown hair.

He wore dark coloured trousers, a dark jacket and a top.
