BEING caught with cocaine has led to a man having to pay £20 a month for five months.

Liam Savage, of Foxbury Grove, Portchester, admitted possessing cocaine in Clarence Road, Gosport, on November 11 last year.

He appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court and was given a nine-month conditional discharge.

The 28-year-old must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service at a rate of £20 a month.
