JEWELLERY and computer equipment was stolen from a home in Gosport.

Police say a thief got into the address in The Spinney overnight between Thursday, and Friday.

Jewellery and computer equipment was stolen.

Investigating officer PC Heather Tack said: ‘I’m keen to speak to witnesses who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area of The Spinney between Thursday and Friday.

‘This is being treated as an isolated incident, and at this time there is no information to suggest otherwise.’

Hampshire Constabulary is also reminding people to make sure they keep their homes secure, especially as doors and windows are left open in the summer.

PC Tack added: ‘I would also like to take this opportunity to remind residents to keep
their windows and doors locked and secure, even if you are only popping out for a short time or relaxing in the garden.’

Witnesses, or anyone with information, is asked to contact CID at Fareham police station on 101.
