Attempt murder probe: second man arrested

Have your say

FEARS are growing for a missing man who disappeared five days ago.

Dad-of-four Adil Salim has not been seen since leaving his Portsmouth home at about 6.40pm on Monday.

The 38-year-old, who is being treated for thyroid problems and depression, went out for a cigarette but did not return.

He was carrying only small change, cigarettes and his mobile phone. He does not have his medication with him.

PC Helen Bibby said: ‘Adil’s family have no idea where he may have gone. He spent all his time with his children and is currently unemployed. He left without his belongings, a change of clothes or his passport.

‘The family, which includes four children, are growing increasingly concerned and would ask anyone who knows of his whereabouts to get in touch. If Adil himself sees this appeal, please contact police to let us know you are safe and well.’

Mr Salim is slim with dark hair and a moustache. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black jacket and blue jeans.
