Congestion chaos hits Portsmouth after serious crash closes road

TRAFFIC is building across Portsmouth after a serious crash closed one of the city's major roads.

Emergency services have blocked Eastern Road, between Mill Road and Burrfields Road following a crash between a motorbike and a lorry at 6.28am.

Diversions are now in place but congestion is mounting in the city.

Traffic along Baffins Road and Milton Road is extremely slow.

POLICE SEEK WITNESSES

Copnor Road and the unblocked northern stretch of Eastern Road are also heavily congested, with bumper-to-bumper traffic.
