PEOPLE are being urged to stay alert after rogue traders have been reported knocking on doors offering roof repairs.

Hampshire County Council’s Trading Standards officers warned they had received reports of incidents in the Locks Heath area and advised people not to agree to work that is instigated as a result of a cold call or via a leaflet drop.

For information or advice on these rogue traders, call the council on 01962 833666 during office hours.

If assistance is required outside of these hours call police on 101 or 999 if you feel threatened or intimidated.
