Counter-terror police charge Portsmouth man formerly known as Mustakim Jaman with breaching of terrorist notification requirements

A PORTSMOUTH man convicted of a terror offence has been charged with breaching terrorist notification requirements.

Isaac Idris – jailed in 2015 under the name of Mustakim Jaman after being convicted of preparing terrorist acts – is accused of failing to tell police of financial information, a phone number and email addresses.

The 29-year-old was arrested by Counter Terrorism Policing South East officers on July 27.

He has been charged with five breaches of a Part 4 Terrorist Notification Order, under Section 54 of the Counter Terrorism Act 2008.
