MAGISTRATES have fined a man for using a mobile phone while driving.

Mark Davies, 50, of Frandor Road, Bognor Regis, was found to have committed the crime while driving a Citroen van in Selsmore Road, Hayling Island. He was told to pay £225 in a fine and costs by Fareham magistrates. The case was proved in his absence.
