n Terrence Mayes, 33, of Clarendon Road, Southsea, admitted theft of a Bayliss gift set worth £50 from Debenhams on November 18 in Portsmouth.

He also admitted theft of lip balm from Superdrug in London Road, Portsmouth, on the same day.

He was fined £20 for each and must pay £41.97 compensation, £50 prosecution costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

n Shelby Mays, 18, of Quinton Close, Portsmouth, admitted criminal damage to a copy of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 at Portsmouth Central police station on January 5.
