He was given a community order with 25 days of rehabilitation activities and 80 hours of unpaid work.

Richard Bachelor, 52, of Spring Vale, Swanmore, admitted harassing a woman between July 1 and November 16 last year.

He sent her a large number of messages via a phone and on social media.

Magistrates imposed a community order with 60 hours’ unpaid work and 20 days of rehabilitation activities.

Bachelor was handed a restraining order banning him from contacting the woman until March 2017.

Lawrence Leaver, 25, of Farmside Gardens, Hilsea, admitted assaulting a woman by beating on January 15 in Portsmouth.

He was handed a four-month prison term suspended for 24 months.

Tyron Prout, 24, of Willows Close, Swanmore, admitted drink-driving.

He was caught riding a motorbike in Mayles Lane, Knowle, on December 5 last year.

A test showed he had 134 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, more than the 80mg limit.

Magistrates banned him from driving for three years.
