n Daniel Chamberlain, 31, of Malvern Road, Southsea, was jailed for 21 days after admitting three thefts.

He also admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, thereby causing that person or another harassment, alarm or distress on February 1 and October 17 and 20.

Magistrates jailed him for 21 days in total.

n Joe Trevellick, 36, of Swarraton Road, Havant, admitted two counts of assault by beating against a man and woman on July 15.

Magistrates imposed a three-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months.

A restraining order bans him from contacting the woman for a year. He must pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n David Penny, 52, of Valentine Close, Fareham, admitted stealing two bottles of Drambuie from Sainsbury’s on July 1.

He was fined £50. He must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £50 prosecution costs.

n Jason Jay, 26, of Thrush Walk, Waterlooville, admitted assault by beating against a woman on July 11 in Cosham.

Magistrates imposed a community order with a six-month drug rehabilitation requirement.

Jay must complete 20 days of rehabilitation activities and pay an £85 victim surcharge. He must also pay £200 prosecution costs.

n Max Pike, 20, of Gordon Road, Fareham, admitted destroying a car window on August 16 in Fareham.

He was discharged conditionally for 12 months with £250 compensation to pay.

Pike must also pay a £20 victim surcharge.

He also admitted failing to surrender to custody on August 31.

n Alan Anderson, 49, of no fixed address, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Palmerston Road, Southsea, on August 28. He was fined £100 for the offence.

Anderson also admitted breaching a conditional discharge for racially-aggravated causing harassment, alarm or distress.

No action was taken on the breach.

n George Blades, 19, of Chichester Road, Copnor, admitted drug-driving and was fined £250.

He was caught with ketamine in his blood in Burrfields Road, Portsmouth, on June 29.

Blades was banned from driving for 12 months. He must pay a £25 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

n Jacek Borowicki, 40, of Kingston Road, Portsmouth, admitted driving without a licence and without insurance on August 26.

He was fined £250 with a £30 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs to pay.

Magistrates banned him from driving for six months.
