n Daniel Blake, 24, of Granada Road, Southsea, admitted drink-driving on March 12 in Rowner Road, Gosport.

Magistrates fined him £420 and banned him from driving for a year.

Blake must pay £370 prosecution costs.

A test revealed he had 56 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the 35mg legal limit.

n Terry Reeve, 24, of Laburnum Road, Waterlooville, was found guilty of harassment between June 6 and 20 in Havant.

He sent messages and made phone calls causing the victim distress.

Magistrates fined him £300 and imposed a restraining order banning him from contacting the victim for a year.

Reeve must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £175 prosecution costs.

He admitted breaching a suspended prison sentence for possession of a knife and a conditional discharge for two benefit fraud charges, relating to failing to notify a change of circumstances.

No actions were taken on the breaches.

n Jay-Jay Gotts, 19, of Arnaud Close, Portsmouth, admitted assault by beating against a man on July 5 in Milton.

He also admitted criminal damage to a door and mirror on the same day and location.

He must pay £125 compensation for the assault and £140 for the damage.

Gotts was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Paul Davis, 36, of Harty Ferry Road, Leysdown-on-Sea, Kent, admitted theft of a hammer drill and a transformer worth £465.99 from Armashield.

He was fined £500 with £450 compensation for the theft, with a £50 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs to pay.

n Gary Stewart, 28, of St Ronan’s Road, Southsea, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, causing harassment, alarm or distress.

He committed the offence on July 13 in Southsea and was fined £650.

He also admitted failing to surrender to custody on August 4 and was fined another £650.

Stewart must pay a £65 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Todd Ansell, 26, of Allens Road, Southsea, admitted assault by beating against a man on March 27 in his street.

He was handed an 81-day prison sentence suspended for a year for the assault on his victim.

Ansell must complete 40 hours unpaid work in 12 months and pay £500 compensation.

He must also pay an £80 victim surcharge and £310 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
