n Michael Cave, 46, of Sandringham Road, Fratton, admitted theft of sunglasses worth £187 from TK Maxx in Cascades Shopping Centre.

Magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge with a £20 victim surcharge.

He committed the offence on July 27 in Portsmouth.

n Samuel Ellwood, 22, of Adames Road, Fratton, admitted assault by beating against a man in Hampshire Boulevard on July 27.

Magistrates fined him £150 with a £30 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

Ellwood admitted a second assault by beating against a man on the same day in Lord Montgomery Way. He was fined £150 for this assault.

n Scott Henson-Webb, 18, of Blendworth Crescent, Havant, admitted theft of a bike worth £380 from Havant railway station on June 15.

Magistrates imposed a community order with 10 days of rehabilitation activities.

He must pay £20 compensation for the bike.

Henson-Webb also admitted stealing a second bike worth £150 on May 27 in Havant. He must pay £150 compensation for this bike and admitted two other offences to be taken into consideration.

n Robert Kille, 32, of no fixed address, admitted begging in Southsea on July 20 and was fined £50.

Magistrates ordered him to pay a £30 victim surcharge and for him to be detained in court.

This was deemed served due to time spent in custody.

n Samantha Jarrett, 40, of Gosport Road, Fareham, admitted theft of clothes and two bottles of wine worth £49.90 from Sainsbury’s on July 23.

Magistrates imposed a community order with alcohol treatment requirement for six months.

She must pay a £50 fine, an £85 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

Jarrett was fined £50 after admitting breaching a suspended sentence for three shoplifting offences, four failures to surrender to bail and two assaults by beating.

n Bobbylee Dugdale, 32, of Patridge Gardens, admitted theft at Matalan on May 30.

He also admitted theft of nine razor blades from Sainsbury’s on July 15.

Magistrates imposed a community order with drug rehabilitation requirement of six months.

He must complete 20 days of rehabilitation activities.

Dugdale must pay an £85 victim surcharge.
