n Daniel Dukcazewska, 37, of Alhambra Road, Southsea, admitted criminal damage to hair straighteners in Southsea on July 3.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge with £100 compensation to pay. Dukcazewska must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Martin Alexis, 47, of Westfield Road, Southsea, admitted theft.

He stole DVDs from Sainsbury’s in Portsmouth worth £60 on June 28.

Magistrates imposed an 18-month conditional discharge with a £20 victim surcharge. He must pay £50 prosecution costs.

n Adam Osborne, 54, of Beatrice Road, Southsea, admitted three counts of drug-driving on May 26 in New Road, Portsmouth.

They related to cocaine and cannabis when he was driving a Mitsubishi L200.

In total he was fined £500 with a £50 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs. Magistrates banned him from driving for 18 months.

n Sharon Shilan, 37, of Sedglery Close, Southsea, admitted theft from Boots on June 27. She stole three Yankee candles worth £65.97.

Magistrates imposed a two-year conditional discharge with a £20 victim surcharge and £50 prosecution costs.

n Paul Simmons, 35, of Walmer Road, Fratton, admitted drink-driving in Liverpool Road, Portsmouth, on July 6.

He was driving a VW Caddy when he was stopped. A test revealed he had 54 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the 35mcg legal limit. Magistrates fined him £750 with a three-year ban.

He must pay a £75 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Stuart Cameron, 36, of St Paul’s Road, Southsea, admitted theft.

He stole clothes worth £260.50 from Marks and Spencers in Commercial Road on July 7.

Cameron also admitted theft of trainers worth £225 from the Nike store in Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth, on July 15. Magistrates imposed a four-week prison term suspended for 12 months with 25 rehabilitation activity requirement days.

He must pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

He admitted breaching a previous 18-month conditional discharge.
