Hide Adn Alan Ferguson, 63, of Alliance Close, Gosport, admitted possession of cocaine, a class A drug.
He was fined £50 for the April 28 offence in Gosport.
He must pay a £30 victim surcharge and was detained in court.
The drugs were ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.
He also admitted breaching a conditional discharge by failing to register an address within three days of release from prison.
Ferguson also admitted breaching a conditional discharge by failing to complete annual registration under the Sex Offences Act. No action was taken on the breaches.

Hide Adn Craig Fitzgerald, 26, of Ladram Road, Gosport, admitted driving without due care and attention on the M27 westbound on May 12.
He was driving a VW Golf between Junction 11 and 12.
Fitzgerald was fined £120 and banned from driving for six months.
He must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs. He also admitted failing to stop the vehicle when required to by a constable but received no separate penalty.
n Victoria Taylor, 28, of Westbourne Road, Portsmouth, admitted using a colour television receiver without a licence between February 16 and March 17.

n Andre Ozanne, 50, of Cliff Road, Fareham, was fined £250 after admitting failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
He committed the offence on March 16.
Ozanne was fined £250, with a £25 victim surcharge and £200 prosecution costs to pay.

n Raymond Slater, 54, of no fixed address, was found guilty of being on foot on the M27 at Fareham when he was not authorised.
