n Peter Oakwell, 35, of Alhambra Road, Southsea, admitted the theft of two bottles of beer worth £5 from Co-op in Portsmouth.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Sara Hodgkinson, 30, of Magpie Walk, Waterlooville, admitted theft of £20 cash from a man in Waterlooville on April 4.

She was given a six-month conditional discharge with £20 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge and £50 costs to pay.

n Andrew Brock, 47, of Foster Road, Landport, admitted theft of five beef joints worth £44.90 from Tesco in Portsmouth on February 24.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge with £44.90 compensation to pay.

He must also pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Samantha Burges, 23, of Spencer Road, Emsworth, admitted drink-driving and was banned for 20 months with a £200 fine.

She was stopped in Hulbert Road, Waterlooville, on April 29.

A test revealed she had 84 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the 35mcg legal limit.

Burges must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Joseph Crew, 29, of Claremont Road, Fratton, admitted an assault by beating against a woman on April 2 in Portsmouth.

He also admitted an assault by beating against a man on the same day.

Crew pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine, a class A drug, on the same day.

He must pay a £100 fine with a six-week jail term, which was suspended for 12 months.

He must pay an £80 victim surcharge, £85 prosecution costs and £100 compensation.

n Daryl Fewings, 48, of Spinner Driver, Havant, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Havant on May 12.

He was fined £35 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge plus £85 prosecution costs.

n David McNally, 46, of Berkshire Close, Landport, admitted theft of meat worth £31.81 from Asda in Portsmouth on April 12.

He was fined £50 with £31.81 compensation to pay.

n Eugene Parsons, 44, care of Spring Garden Lane, Gosport, admitted theft of two £10 scratch cards and a £17.50 pouch of Amber Leaf tobacco from Co-op on August 9 last year.

He was fined £50 with £37.50 in compensation to pay, plus a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

His guilty plea was taken into account when he was sentenced by magistrates.
