n Wayne Morgan, 51, of Waverley Road, Southsea, admitted assault by beating on March 26 in Fratton.

He was given a community order with 32-day relationships course and 20 days of rehabilitation activities.

A restraining order was imposed banning him from contacting a woman or going to an address for two years.

He must pay £50 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge.

He also admitted causing harassment, alarm or distress on March 26 at Portsmouth Central police station.

He must pay £100 compensation for that offence.

He also admitted breaching a community order for an assault by beating.

n Sarah Thorne 47, of Parklands Close, Gosport, admitted theft of six joints of beef worth £35.24 from Aldi in Gosport.

Magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge.

She must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

Thorne also admitted failing to surrender to custody on May 11.

n Sophie Lawton, 18, of The Avenue, Gosport, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm against a man in Albert Road, Southsea, on January 30.

She also admitted assault by beating and racially-aggravated assault on the same day in the same place.

And Lawton also admitted resisting a constable in the execution of her duty.

Lawton was sentenced to a 26-week term of detention suspended for 18 months for the prolonged incident of violence using a weapon.

She must complete 18 months of supervision and 20 days of rehabilitation activities.

She must complete 100 hours unpaid work and pay £300 compensation.

Lawton also admitted two counts of assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty on April 20 in Cheriton Road, Gosport.

n David Trowse, 53, of Percy Road, Southsea, admitted making 267 indecent photographs of a child between April 2014 and April 2015.

He received a community order with 60 days of rehabilitation activities.

Trowse must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

His laptop will be forfeited and destroyed under the Powers Criminal Courts Sentencing Act 2000.

Trowse must sign the sex offenders’ register for five years.

n Paul Brushwood, 43, of Waverley Road, Southsea, admitted theft of food and drink worth £16.84 at Co-op.

Magistrates imposed a six-month conditional discharge with a £15 victim surcharge.
