n John Bollman, 57, of Bell Crescent, Waterlooville, admitted drink-driving in Southwick Road, Wickham, on April 19.

A test showed he had 70 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, double the 35mcg legal limit.

Bollman was fined £400 and banned from driving for 40 months.

He must pay a £40 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Zara Curtis, 32, of The Anchorage, Gosport, admitted drug-driving.

She was caught driving a Mazda in Elson Road, Gosport, on January 15 with amphetamine in her blood.

Magistrates banned her from driving for 32 months with a £120 fine.

She must pay £85 prosecution costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

n Nigel Maza, 52, of Gladys Avenue, North End, admitted theft of wine and a chicken worth £11.80 wrap from Co-op in Portsmouth.

He was detained in court as punishment but this was deemed served as he spent time in custody.

n Steven Mitchell, 47, of Cotton Road, Portsmouth, was found guilty of assault by beating against a woman on October 9 last year in Portsmouth.

Magistrates handed him a 12-month conditional discharge. He must pay £115 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge and £200 prosecution costs.

n Dean Iddenten, 26, of Gale Moor Avenue, Gosport, was jailed for 16 weeks.

He was caught driving while disqualified in Forton Road, Gosport, on May 1 and banned for 26 months.

Iddenten admitted driving without insurance on the same day.

He admitted breaching a suspended sentence for driving while disqualified in September.

n Troy Norris, 46, of Thornton Road, Gosport, admitted drink-driving on April 30 in Fareham Road, Gosport.

He was banned for 24 months and given a community order with 80 hours unpaid work.

Norris must pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Robert Parker, 21, of Fay Close, Stubbington, admitted two thefts on February 28 and April 20.

He was fined £40, must pay £44.47 compensation and a £30 victim surcharge with £85 prosecution costs.
