n Christopher Ryder, 40, of Fyning Street, Portsmouth, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.

He was fined £60 with a £20 victim surcharge to pay.

n Rodney Hoyle, 33, of Catherington Way, Havant, admitted two counts of theft, one on December 3 and the other on December 12 last year.

Hoyle took two bottles of Champagne worth £60.18 from Co-op and £61.14 worth of meat from Waitrose.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay £60.18 and £61.14 in compensation.

Hoyle must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Rondy Alexander, 31, of Vanstone Road, Gosport, admitted drink-driving and was banned for 23 months with 100 hours’ unpaid work in a community order.

He was stopped in a Vauxhall Corsa on April 17 in St Nicholas Avenue, Gosport.

A test revealed he had 91 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than double the 35mcg legal limit. Alexander must pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

He also admitted driving without insurance but received no separate penalty.

n Danny Doyle, 23, of Launceston Close, Gosport, admitted criminal damage to a front door at Boots in Gosport. Magistrates imposed a community order with 60 hours’ unpaid work.

He must pay £300 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Manfred Gobvu, 30, of Bedford Street, Southsea, was found guilty in his absence of driving without insurance and was fined £440. He was caught on November 30 last year in Fareham Road, Gosport.

Gobvu must pay a £44 victim surcharge and £600 prosecution costs.

He was also found guilty of driving without a licence.

n Stephen Ryan, 37, of Estella Road, Portsmouth, admitted stealing food and electrical items worth £167.15 from Tesco in Fareham.

Magistrates imposed a community order with 80 hours of unpaid work.

Ryan must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

He also admitting breaching a conditional discharge for theft in December and was re-sentenced to the community order.

n Paul Spooner, 34, of Southway, Gosport, admitted assault by beating on March 27 in Cunningham Drive, Gosport.

He also admitted criminal damage to a phone and car windscreen on the same day.

Magistrates imposed a community order with 25 days of rehabilitation activities.

Spooner was fined £50 with a £60 victim surcharge and had £85 prosecution costs to pay.
