Hide Adn Jay Nother, 22, of Eastney Road, Milton, admitted assaulting a woman by beating and criminal damage on February 13 in Southsea.
He was handed a community order with 30 days of rehabilitation activities.
Nother was fined £230 with a £60 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
n Kim O’Leary, 38, of no fixed address, admitted jointly stealing six joints of beef worth £35.24 from Aldi in Gosport on April 21.
