n Joseph Withey, 22, of Warsash Road, Warsash, admitted drink-driving in Southampton Road, Cosham, on March 25.

A test showed he had 51 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the 35mcg legal limit.

Withey was fined £160 and banned from driving for 12 months.

He must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Andrew Hart, 47, of North End Grove, North End, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place.

He was fined £50 for the offence on March 10.

He must pay a £20 victim surcharge.

n Jasmine Scott, 25, of Geoffrey Crescent, Fareham, was found guilty of stealing £399 from a man between December 22 and 31 in 2014.

She was given a two-year conditional discharge and must pay £399 compensation.

Scott must pay a £15 victim surcharge.

n Sean Plumstead, 26, of HMP Winchester, admitted an assault by beating on a woman on December 25 last year.

He also pleaded guilty to criminal damage to a kitchen window and cat flap on the same day.

The district judge jailed him for three months for the assault and one month concurrent for the damage.

n James Cannon, 32, of Gosport Road, Fareham, admitted stealing food and alcohol on April 12.

He also admitted stealing drinks on April 11.

The district judge jailed him for eight weeks for each offence to run concurrent as he has 59 previous like convictions and was on post-sentence supervision.

n Thomas Ovenden, 26, care of Billy Lawn Avenue, Havant, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements by not going to three appointments.

He was jailed for five days.

n Aaron Good, 44, of Kensington Road, Copnor, admitted stealing three items of jewellery worth £295 from a shop in Wickham on July 25 last year.

He also admitted stealing £280 in cash from another shop on the same day.

He was jailed for three months as he has a record of offending.

n Harley Champion, 19, of Westfield Road, Paulsgrove, admitted an assault by beating. He was given a community order for the March 16 offence.

He must complete 25 days of rehabilitation activities and pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
