n Neil Stewart, 48, of Elm Road, Purley, was found guilty of assaulting a woman in Waterlooville.

He was given an 18-month conditional discharge with a £15 victim surcharge and £620 prosecution costs to pay.

n Mohamad Kohi, 40, of Green Road, Southsea, was found guilty of driving without third-party insurance and was fined £85 with six points on his licence. He was given a £20 victim surcharge and £195 costs to pay.

n Horace Onobrakpeya, 50, of Lytham Close, London, admitted speeding on the A3 at Petersfield. He was fined £100 with a £20 victim surcharge and £50 prosecution costs to pay. Magistrates imposed three points on his licence.

n Gabriella Baldacchino, 25, of Cornwallis Crescent, Landport, admitted two counts of theft and one of failing to surrender to custody. She was ordered to pay £179.74 compensation, a £50 fine and £20 victim surcharge.

n Jack Shelley, 23, of no fixed address, admitted assaulting a constable in the execution of his duty.

He was fined £300 with a £30 victim surcharge.

He also admitted breaching a conditional discharge he received for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.

He was fined £150 for the original offence and fined £150 for breaching a suspended sentence for a previous assault.
