n Christopher Jenkins, 34, of First Avenue, Horndean, admitted driving without third party insurance. He was fined £300 with a £30 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs and given six points on his licence.

n Gianni Shipp, 32, of Penny Street, of Portsmouth, admitted failing to provide a specimen of breath and was fined £435 with 10 points on his licence. He must pay a £44 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Roswan Abdulla, 30, of Saxley Court, Havant, admitted throwing down, dropping or depositing litter. He was fined £30 with a £20 victim surcharge and £124 prosecution costs.

n Matthew Kirby, 25, of Montague Road, Hilsea, admitted four thefts. He was given a nine-month conditional discharge with a £15 victim surcharge. He must pay £85 costs.

n Paul Hancock, 56, of Grange Crescent, admitted driving while using a mobile phone contrary to HM Naval Base Portsmouth byelaws 1981. He was fined £100 with a £20 victim surcharge and £60 prosecution costs.

n Peter MacDonald, 50, of Gosport Road, Fareham, admitted theft. He was given a community order with 15 days of rehabilitation activities and fined £60. He admitted breaching two earlier conditional discharge sentences.

n Scott Rees, 21, of Battery Hill, Bishop’s Waltham, admitted criminal damage to an iPhone 4S. He was given a six-month conditional discharge with £15 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

n Steve Siva, 48, of Cutlers Lane, Fareham, admitted drink-driving and was fined £500 with a 12-month ban. A test showed he had microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the 35mcg legal limit. He must pay a £50 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Benjamin Vos, 34, of Locks Road, Locks Heath, admitted drink-driving. He was fined £1,200 with an 18-month ban. A test showed he had 85 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than double the limit. He must pay a £120 victim surcharge and £80 prosecution costs.

n Ricky Hobbins, 29, care of Victoria Street, Gosport, admitted a theft and two charges of interfering with motor vehicles.

He stole a CD, speaker and soft toy from one car in Leesland Road, on February 27.

He interfered with a Ford Fusion and Vauxhall Corsa on the same day in Grayshott Road.

Fareham magistrates jailed him for eight weeks.

The court heard he breached a conditional discharge and had previous convictions.

The earlier sentence was for possession of cannabis on June 2 in Anns Hill Road, Gosport.

He was re-sentenced and committed to prison as part of the punishment.
