n Jay McKnight, 33, of Agincourt Road, Buckland, admitted stealing chocolate from a Co-op in Southsea on January 17.

n Melissa Twells, 46, of Eastern Road, Portsmouth, admitted stealing washing products worth £30 from Wilko in Waterlooville on October 7 last year.

She must pay £30 compensation.

n Jamil Vanerkirk, 50, of Grafton Street, Buckland, admitted stealing a Hitachi sound bar worth £42 from Cash Converters in Portsmouth on November 28 last year.

Magistrates imposed a six-month conditional discharge with £42 compensation to pay.

n Damian Whittaker, 22, of Wynton Way, Fareham, admitted possessing a quantity of a class B drug, cannabis, on February 5 in Portsmouth.

He was fined £80 with a £20 victim surcharge and £25 prosecution costs to pay.

n Cairo Paige, 25, of Station Road, Copnor, was found guilty of assault by beating against a woman on September 19 last year.

She was given a 12-month conditional discharge with a £15 victim surcharge and £250 prosecution costs to pay.

n Liam Baggaley, 21, of Bury Close, Gosport, admitted drink-driving.

He was stopped in Mumby Road, Gosport, on February 27 in a Peugeot.

A test showed he had 102 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than three times the 35mcg legal limit.

Magistrates fined him £400 with a £40 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

He was banned from driving for 24 months.

n Dawn Collins, 49, of Howe Road, Gosport, admitted stealing food from Tesco on February 22 in Gosport.

She was fined £60 with a £20 victim surcharge.

Magistrates ordered her to be detained in court but this was deemed served.

n Daniel Price, 50, of Camden Street, Gosport, admitted drink-driving in Camden Street on February 22 driving a Ford Focus.

A test revealed he had 64 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, nearly double the 35mcg legal limit.

Magistrates fined him £100 and banned him from driving for 36 months. He must pay a £20 victim surcharge.
