She was handed a 120-day prison sentence suspended for three months.

McCue has a long record for previous similar offences and committed the crime while on post-sentence supervision.

She must pay an £80 victim surcharge but was detained in court.

McCue also admitted assault by beating on the same day.

n Kelly Nash, 33, of Broadmere Avenue, in Havant, admitted jointly stealing meat worth £193 from Co-op in Fareham on November 11 last year.

Nash was given a nine-month conditional discharge. She must pay a £15 victim surcharge.

n Ethan Parsons, 43, of Norman Road, Gosport, admitted being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle.

He was stopped in a Mercedes Sprinter van in Hulbert Road, Havant, on January 29.

A test showed he had 107 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than three times the 35mcg legal limit.

He was given 10 points on his licence, given a community order and told to complete 15 days of rehabilitation activities.

Parsons must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n David Connolly, 36, of Sutton Close, Cowplain, admitted drink-driving.

He was stopped in Arundel Street, Portsmouth, on January 29.

A test showed he had 44 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the 35mcg legal limit. He was fined £550 and banned from driving for 12 months.

Connolly must pay a £55 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Jay Hawkins, 41, of Kenwood Road, Fareham, admitted being drunk and disorderly at the rear of Portsmouth Central Police Station on January 29.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.

n Adam Law, 29 of Kent Road, Southsea, admitted possession of cannabis, a class A drug.

He was fined £400 for the January 16 offence committed in Southsea, and must pay a £40 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

The cannabis was ordered to be forfeited and destroyed under section 27 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

n David Barney, 27, of Catherington Way, Havant, sent a message that was grossly offensive or of indecent, obscene or menacing character over a public electronic communications network on December 4 last year.

He was fined £100 with a £20 victim surcharge and £80 costs.
