n Hamish Blair, 19, of Broad Street, Old Portsmouth, admitted two counts of assault by beating.

He was given an 18-month conditional discharge for the two offences committed on December 31 last year in Fareham.

Blair must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Steven Parr, 24, of Gibraltar Close, Fareham, admitted assault by beating in April 13 last year in Fareham.

He was fined £80 with a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Shaun Andrews, 50, of Kingsclere Avenue, Havant, admitted assault by beating on January 1 in Havant.

Magistrates imposed a community order with 32 days of a building better relationships course and 30 days of rehabilitation activities.

He must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

Andrews also pleaded guilty to damaging a phone on the same day.

n Scott Caldwell, 44, of no fixed address, admitted stealing four bottles of Jack Daniels, a packet of crisps, a bag of bananas and potatoes, worth a total of £123.04, from Tesco in Portsmouth.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge for the February 13 offence.

Caldwell must pay a £15 victim surcharge.

He admitted breaching a conditional discharge for an earlier shoplifting offence, and was given a 12-month conditional discharge for this.

n Nicholas Cartmell, 48, of Beach Road, Southsea, admitted being in charge of a vehicle while over the limit.

He was caught in Grassmere Way, Waterlooville, on January 7 and banned from driving for a year.

A test showed he had 132 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than three times the 35mcg legal limit.

Cartmell was handed a community order with a six-month alcohol treatment requirement.

He must pay a £60 victim surcharge.

n Matthew Lyden, 29, of St Anne’s Crescent, Gosport, admitted assaulting a constable in the execution of her duty on December 21 last year in Cornwell Close, Gosport.

Lyden was fined £325 with £100 compensation, a £32 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs to pay.

n Charlotte Keaton, 34, of Gosport Road, Fareham, admitted four counts of theft across Fareham on December 30 last year.

She was fined £80 in total with a £20 victim surcharge and £20 costs.

She admitted breaching a conditional discharge imposed in May last year for a previous offence of possession of a class A drug.
