Gurr was given a restraining order banning him from Handsworth House in Quinton Close, Somers Town, for two years.

He must complete 12 months supervision and 25 days of rehabilitation activities.

Gurr must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £400 prosecution costs.

n Steven Brimecome, 29, of Cinderford Close, Paulsgrove, was fined £270 after admitting assault by beating.

He committed the offence on December 18 last year in Portsmouth.

He must pay a £27 victim surcharge and £185 prosecution costs.

n Michael Brookes, 31, of Forton Road, Gosport, admitted assault by beating.

He was given a community order for the January 12 offence at Gosport bus station.

Brookes must complete 20 days of rehabilitation activities. And he must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

Brookes also admitted committing an offence while having a conditional discharge for criminal damage.

The community order was also imposed as punishment for that previous offence, committed on February 2 last year.

n Darius Finch, 25, of Ebery Grove, Copnor, admitted failing to comply with a traffic sign– white hatchings. He was caught while driving a VW Polo at Fountain Lake Jetty at Portsmouth Naval Base on January 26. The case was brought under Her Majesty’s Naval Base Portsmouth Byelaws 1981. Finch was fined £165 with a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Kimberley Clarke, 28, of Tokio Road, Copnor, admitted fraud by false representation.

She had taken items from a shop in Ocean Park and used an old receipt to get other items. Clarke was fined £100 for the December 7 offence. She must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Ashley Martin, 34, of no fixed address, admitted stealing a bottle of Covonia cough medicine and a Nurofen tablets worth £7.90 from Boots.

He committed the offence in Commercial Road, Portsmouth, on February 2.

He was jailed for 14 days as he committed the offence during post-sentence supervision and has disregarded court orders before.
