n Sachin Patel, 21, of Queen Street, Portsea, admitted drink-driving.

He was stopped in Winston Churchill Avenue, Portsmouth, on January 15.

A test showed he had 41 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the 35mg limit.

Patel was fined £200 and banned from driving for 12 months.

He must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Carolyn Spragg, 48, of Wingfield Street, Buckland, admitted stealing £426 of perfume from Asda.

She committed the offence on December 21 last year in Portsmouth.

Spragg was given a 30-month conditional discharge with a £15 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Timothy Barker, 63, of Osborne Road, Southsea, admitted driving without due care and attention.

He was fined £200 for the August 11 offence last year in Albert Road, Southsea.

He must pay a £25 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

Barker also admitted failing to report an accident within 24 hours and was fined £250 and given five points on his licence.

n Billie Clover, 19, of Cornwallis Crescent, Landport, admitted assaulting a constable in the execution of her duty.

She was fined £100 for the January 1 offence in Portsmouth.

Clover must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

n Marius Oprea, 26, of Lumsden Road, Eastney, admitted failing to give a breath test when required.

He was fined £250 and banned from driving for 12 months. Oprea committed the offence on January 1 in Portsmouth.

n David McCready, 31, of Lockerley Road, Havant, was found guilty of assault by beating.

He was given a community order and must complete a building better relationships course and a rehabilitation activity requirement of 10 days.

McCready was fined £25 for the July 16 offence in Fulmer Walk, Waterlooville.

n Rory Harbourne, 36, of Whitecliffe Avenue, Copnor, admitted being drunk and disorderly. He committed the offence on June 23 last year in Clarence Esplanade, Southsea.

Harbourne was fined £15 with a £20 victim surcharge.

He was ordered to be detained in the court but that was deemed served as he spent time in custody.

n Joe Golds, 25, of Howard Road, Hilsea, admitted speeding. He drove a Vauxhall Astra faster than the 30mph limit in London Road on April 11 last year.

He was fined £160 and banned for 28 days. He must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
