He committed the offence on December 15 in Portsmouth.

Chamberlain was fined £80 with a £20 victim surcharge and £40 prosecution costs. He also admitted breaching a conditional discharge he received in August for a shoplifting offence.

n Christopher Page, 46, of Westwood Road, Hilsea, admitted obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty.

He obstructed a police inspector on November 29 in Portsmouth. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Page also admitted two charges of assaulting a constable in the execution of his duty on the same day.

He must pay £100 compensation.

n Michael Southwell, 53, of Hawthorn Crescent, Cosham, admitted stealing a purse belonging to a woman.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge with a £15 victim surcharge to pay. Southwell must pay £50 prosecution costs. He committed the offence on November 1 last year in Southsea.

n Indy Wilkinson, 20, of Ward Road, Eastney, admitted damaging a door and window at the Wedgewood Rooms in Southsea.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge for the November 27 offence.

He must pay £250 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge.
