A LARGE mirror was stolen by thieves from a garden centre.

Crooks broke into Russells, in Main Road, Birdham, near Chichester, and took the mirror, which measures 6ft by 3ft and has a distinctive wooden frame.

It is worth about £250.

The theft happened overnight between Monday, October 15 and Tuesday, October 16.

PC Trev Burton, from Sussex police, said: ‘If you were in Birdham that night and saw anything suspicious we would like to hear from you.’
