JAMES Sibley was given a curfew after he admitted stealing meat from a supermarket.

The 28-year-old pleaded guilty to taking a joint of meat from a Southern Co-operatives store in Gudge Heath Lane, Fareham

The crime took place on Monday, March 7 and Fareham magistrates ordered Sibley, from Bury Road, Gosport, not to leave his home between 4pm and 4am for 30 days.

He was also told to pay the cost of the joint – £9.19 – as compensation to the Co-op.
