A DRIVER appeared in court over the death of Emsworth cyclist Howard Plumb.

Bo Lundmark, 54, of Blakullevagen, Umea, Sweden, appeared at Worthing Magistrates’ Court charged with causing death by careless driving.

Mr Plumb died of serious head injuries when he was in collision with a Honda Jazz at Charlton, near Chichester, on July 5 last year. The case was sent to Chichester Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on April 21.
