MOTORCYCLISTS riding dangerously are putting residents ‘at risk’ of serious injury, police have claimed.
The force said it is clamping down on the number of people illegally using their motorbikes across the Havant area.
It comes after a string of reports and complaints to police about bikes being ridden by youths.
Hampshire Constabulary has launched Operation Herd to tackle the issue.
The operation is seeking to identify those causing problems with their motorcycles.
Police are now appealing for help in tracking down the problem riders.
PCSO Chris Dove said: ‘These people are putting themselves, you and your families at risk. Please help us before someone is seriously hurt.’
