Date fixed for Fareham Neighbourhood Watch elections

FRESH leadership will be elected to run a crime-fighting organisation in Fareham.

The town’s neighbourhood watch has fixed a date for its next set of elections.

Announced yesterday, the voluntary body will be holding its election on Tuesday, March 20.

It will see a new committee, made up of a chairman, vice-chairman, secretary, treasurer and auditor, come to power.

Nominations need to be sent to [email protected] by 9am on Monday, March 12.

The election will then take place at the group’s next annual general meeting eight days later, on March 20.

All are invited to attend the event.

It is being staged at Ferneham Hall, in Osborn Road, Fareham from 7pm. It will end at 8pm.
