Detectives probe incident as woman released from bail

A WOMAN arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has been released from bail.

The 21-year-old, from Portsmouth, was arrested after Barney Butwell, 25, suffered life-threatening injuries at an incident at an address on Timpson Road, Landport, Portsmouth on April 2.

Barney has since returned home and is recovering after he was in a coma at Southampton General Hospital.

A Hampshire police spokesman said: ‘Detectives are continuing to investigate this incident.’
