Did you witness man robbing woman of her mobile phone in Bognor?

A WOMAN was robbed of her mobile phone while walking home alone in the early hours.

The 33-year-old victim was walking along Aldwick Road from Bognor Regis when, between the junctions of Nyewood Lane and Richmond Avenue West, the theft took place between 3.30am and 3.55am on Saturday.

The victim was hurt during the incident and suffered pains in her hip, although she did not need hospital treatment.

The robber ran off into Richmond Avenue West.

He was white, slim, 5ft 6in, with brown hair and wore a navy hooded top and jeans. He was carrying a small light green bag over his shoulder.

Detective Constable Jo French said ‘We are asking anyone who saw this suspect, or the victim who is blonde and was wearing a black coat and blue jeans, to contact us.

‘Her mobile phone is a blue iPhone5 in a black case with a skull in silver on the rear and with black gem border.

‘Please also let us know if you have seen it or know where it is.’
