Disqualified driver banned for drink-driving

A DRIVER has been jailed for drink-driving while disqualified.

Tyron Prout, 24, of Willows Close, Swanmore, was jailed for eight weeks after being stopped on April 15 in Bishop’s Waltham. A test showed he had 52 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the 35mcg legal limit.

He admitted drink-driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.

Fareham Magistrates’ Court heard he had been recently disqualified and there was an incident as a result of his driving.

Magistrates banned him for 41 months and revoked a community order.
