A DOCTOR has denied drink-driving.

Dr Girish Chandra was stopped as he drove his Jaguar on the A27 on October 2. A breathalyser test allegedly showed he had 74 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – more than twice the legal limit of 35 microgrammes. But the 73-year-old, of Brading Avenue, Southsea, pleaded not guilty to drink-driving when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court. The case was adjourned for trial before magistrates on November 30.
