A TODDLER had to receive medical treatment after she was bitten by a dog in a park.

The incident happened in Bridgemary Park, in Bridgemary Avenue, Gosport on Monday at around 1pm.

The child, believed to be a girl aged two, is thought to have received facial injuries from the bite.

Police confirmed yesterday that they had received reports of the attack and they are treating it as assault and investigating. Anyone with information should call 101.
