TWO neighbouring properties in Portchester have been burgled.
Handbags containing purses with credit cards were taken from both houses and an iPod was also stolen.
Some of the items were discarded in the back garden and in the street.
In both cases a back door was opened with no signs of forced entry although the homeowners both believe the doors were locked.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the burglaries which happened on Friday, September 30, between midnight and 7am in Newtown. Details of the offences have olny just been released.
