A DRINK-DRIVER has been banned from the roads for 20 months.

Nicholas Lewis, 51, of West Downs Close, Fareham, admitted drink-driving.

Portsmouth magistrates fined him £600 with a £60 victim charge and £200 costs.

He was caught in Funtley Road, Fareham, on July 22.

A test revealed he had 70 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than double the 35mg legal limit.

His plea was taken into account when he was sentenced by magistrates.
