A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a van crashed into the front of a house.

The crash happened in Kiln Road, Fareham, just after 5.15pm on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old man, from Fareham, was driving a Ford Transit van when it was involved in a collision with a lamppost and a house, opposite the Highlands Road junction. No-one was injured however the family could not stay in the 
house.

The structure of the house was made safe overnight and the lamppost 
removed.

The-30 year-old man has been bailed until Thursday, February 12 pending further enquires.
